Background
Bart is partner at HVG Law in the Netherlands and has more than 18 years experience with national and international corporate transactions and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and contractual partnerships, commercial contracts and business process outsourcing transactions.

Bart has a strong focus and ample experience in the following sectors: (i) leisure & hospitality, (ii) consumer products & retail and (iii) technology & platform companies. Bart is a member of the EY Consumer Products & Retail sector group.
For a period of two years Bart worked at the Dutch Legal Desk in London, serving UK multinationals and investments funds.
Bart completed the post graduate programme ‘Corporate Law’ of the Grotius Academy with distinction in June 2008.

Bart graduated in private law and corporate law from the University of Maastricht in 2001. In 2000 he also took part in an exchange programme at the University of Exeter Law School in the United Kingdom. Bart joined HVG Law in November 2001 and worked for HVG Law in London from August 2005 until August 2007.
