Restructurings often involve the granting of intragroup loans and the transfer and assignment of rights and obligations by and/or to group companies. The Finance law team advises on, prepares and negotiates required documentation and thereby closely cooperates with the firm’s Corporate team to ensure that the most optimal structure is implemented.
Novation, amendment and restatement
In the context of restructurings, the novation, amendment and restatement of existing loan and related documentation is often required. The Finance law team advises on necessary steps and among other things prepares and negotiates amendment agreements, security release and pay-off letters as well as accession, transfer and assignment documentation.
