Greenchoice acquires all Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) of De Vrije Energie Producent (DVEP). A positive step for all wind and solar power producers who will transfer to Greenchoice. As a result thereof continuity and security of supply will be guaranteed for these producers and the uncertainty for these producers, caused by DVEP’s announcement earlier this year to terminate its (European) energy activities, will end. Greenchoice is very happy to be able to offer prospects to these producers towards the future and to further strengthen its position in the market for generating wind and solar energy.

The acquisition ensures that over 250 connections of renewable energy producers with a combined installed capacity of over 400 MW will supply electricity to Greenchoice as of 1 January 2024. This provides the opportunity to Greenchoice to further develop its efforts for the transition towards a 100% sustainable energy supply and to offer an even broader product range for producers.
