Practice shows that government organisations and public enterprises have a need for various forms of cooperation. This may concern one-off initiatives on the basis of a cooperation agreement, but also structural forms of cooperation such as joint schemes or a joint venture company with a private party.
Partnerships
When entering into partnerships, clear and balanced agreements are paramount: not just agreements about the cooperation itself, but also agreements for the event that the parties no longer wish to cooperate at a certain point in time. Our involvement in the public sector means we are used to working in a political and administrative context and we regularly advise government organisations and public companies on the design and structuring of the desired cooperation.
