Background

Emma works within the expertise Corporate M&A. She provides advice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and contract law. Emma focuses on guiding companies through mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. In addition to her expertise in Corporate M&A, she also has experience with ESG issues, advising on new laws and regulations.

She has extensive experience advising national and international companies, as well as private equity investors, in various areas within Corporate M&A. Her specialties include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other complex corporate legal issues. Additionally, Emma has experience in sustainable energy projects, including wind or solar parks and heat and cold storage.

Additional information

Emma graduated from Leiden University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law and Business Administration and subsequently her master’s degree in European Law.

During her studies, Emma took part in an exchange programme at the National University of Ireland, Galway and she has done an internship at the Royal Dutch Embassy in Washington D.C.
